Two Stall Hay Lofted Horse Barns

  Wabash Valley Enterprises sells the very best two stall hay lofted horse barns and shelters in the Midwest. Each barn or shelter is hand crafted by our Amish builders. They use only premium building materials on all products they build. They use premium 40 year metal, full 1" kick boards on the inside barn walls, 6" x 6" pressure treated runners, and steel tow rings on all 4 corners for bracing and easy mobility as these are portable buildings.

  When comparing our two-stall hay lofted horse barns and shelters to others you will find that our prices are generally higher. This is because of the premium materials we use in building all of our buildings for example we use 6" x 6" pressure treated runners compared to 4" x 4" or 4" x 6" runners most other builders use. We use full 1" thick board that we have a local sawmill cut specifically for us to use as kick board on inside walls. Even though our horse barns are heavy we highly recommend the use of anchors to use with our horse barns and run in sheds and the anchors are figured into the cost of our buildings. We also use bubble wrap in the ceilings to control condensation and keep water from condensation out of horse run in areas.

  We build buildings that will last a long time and give you daily trouble-free use. Standard Features You Get with This Two Stall Hay Lofted Horse Barn:

• This barn comes with a gambrel roof and a full length second floor hay loft. 

• Has two 12' x 10' stalls with 4′ x 7′ swing open wooden stall doors. There is one 30" x 36" window in each stall.

• Has two 9' x 7' metal sliding doors, one on each side. 

• There is a 10' x 12' open area between the stalls in the middle of the barn on the ground floor.

• The second floor is accessed from the first floor with a wooden ladder. There is also access from the end via a 3' x 4' metal Dutch Window. The other end has an 18" x 27" window for air circulation and light. The height from the floor to the center peak is 6' on this barn. The floor has 2" x 6" floor joists with 3/4" plywood flooring.

• 40-year 29-gauge metal on roof and sides

• 6" x 6" pressure treated runners all the way around building not just on sides. Our runners sit flat on the ground all the way around the bottom of the shed which keeps wind from getting under the building during high winds.

• Our buildings are very heavy.

• Double 2" x 4" wall studs every 48" on center.

• 2" x 6" roof joists 48" on center

• 2" x 10" with a 2" x 6" header above front run-in door openings

• Width: Outside edge of front runner to outside edge of rear runner 12′

• Length: Outside edge of end runner to outside edge of opposite end runner 30'. 

• Height: From bottom of front runner to bottom of door header 90 inches

• Height from ground to center peak is 15'.

• Full 1" thick kick boards on inside walls up 40" from top of 6" x 6" ran horizontally for strength.

• Bubble wrap under metal on roof for condensation control

• Steel tow rings on all four building corners for easy mobility and building bracing.
